MID-NIGHT VOLUNTEER!sorry this event is like last week but dint have time to post.
so..there goes our journey.
8pm
met lindsey and jia ning at their bus stop.
left ballet at 7.30 but still was the earliest.
then we took bus 53 with kimberly and ching ying on board.
travelled all the way noisily to changi airport.
8.30pm
we were quite late.
meeting time was 8.30 but we were still trying to find burger king.
finally met junie and the rest.
ching ying and jia ning havent eat dinner,
so we went to breeks.
they ordered their expensive meal and soon the ndp girls came meet us.
9 plus pm
jolin was very hyper.
while waiting for the bus she was a little crazy?
hahaha and on the bus worse.
when we reach east coast we were hypering our way through.
singing songs in the dark.
everyone was staring at us.
haha but that was fun.
10 plus pm
reached outward bound school.
some problems cropped up.
but soon we were hypering again.
mid-night
supposed to sleep but sat at the open space and slack.
some went to bathe.
then we were turning on songs and taking pictures.
at about 1 plus in the morning we started dancing.
dancing the 10 anniversary thing.
haha that was damn lame.
people were looking at us like we're some kind of weirdos.
dancing in the middle of the night.
at around 2am we went to bathe.
bathing in the middle of the night.
everyone has to assemble at 4.
by 3 plus we were starting to feel tired.
when we assembled,
all of us were red-eyed and were so tired.
4 plus am
regretted that we dint sleep.
cause we were so tired that sitting down was heaven.
me, lindsey, rui yi and kimberly were in one group.
jolin, jia ning, charmaine and ching ying in another.
my group was at the finishing line water point.
we were tasked to open bottle caps and close them.
it was damn stupid.
for what?
open bottles until we had blisters.
before the runners came at 7 am,
the four of us slept at the back.
skiving.
really too tired.
7 plus am
runners filled up the field slowly.
the first race started,
followed by the others.
saw felicia there.
8-11 plus am
quite a lot finished their race and were swarming in to get their drinks.
our tough jobs started.
opening cartons, and placing the bottles on the table.
after a while me and rui yi transferred to the other side to open 100plus cans.
that was even more painful.
and i was covered in 100plus.
12 plus pm
our duty was almost done.
time to go home.
but need wait for jolin that group.
their station was far far away.
1 plus pm
finally jolin's group came.
got our goodie bags and off we went home.
we walked for almost 3km in 1 hour plus to go a bus stop.
hiking.
took bus 16 to bedok interchange.
then took bus 17 back with lindsey and jia ning.
3 plus pm
finally reached home to sleep!
