NDP PREVIEW!!!today's the NDP PREVIEW FOR 2008!!!
thats fast,
next week's NDP already.
so today as usual,
for the second last time,
we took bus 53 to GG HQ.
reached there early,
took photos with the guides and YAs there.
my position changed,
cos got people din come,
changed to the back,
diagonal to dawn.
dunno nxt week NDP if i'll still be standing there..
think today was preview thats why they have the security thing,
the one that we have to walk under some thingy.
girl guides could go in first,
cos we dun have bags with us,
the other UGs have.
haha.
we were'nt in the suntec convention hall again,
same as last last week,
our holding place was some carpeted "ballroom".
girl guides' seats were way right at the end,
always have human jam while walking to our seats.
the place very small lor,
i prefer the big big hall.
lunch was chicken,
bread,
curry potato,
fish nugget,
and chocolate muffin!
so sad,
4th last meal we're having together as a contingent.
had the first practice under the very very ferocious sun.
my feet were burning!
brought back the memory of weeks back at the bedok camp,
where we were getting cooked under the intense heat.
haha what a long time ago alr..
luckily we din stand for very long..
soon we went back to suntec.
got ice cream again!
took vanilla this time.
haha.
not long after the ice cream we had our usual early dinner.
KFC again..
but this time was the spicy burger.
sang songs and cheers,
and for the first time,
with ncc..
they wanted to sing "there was a stream",
but they dunno,
so we sang for them,
then they anyhow make up their own lyrics. xD
sang "peace like a river" with them too..
after the hyperness,
we marched on the streets,
finally after like dunno how many weeks of not marching from suntec,
the feeling was back,
haha.
everyone was looking,
taking pictures and video like we were some celebrity.
soon we were at the marina bay stadium.
due to the change of positions,
i am holding a red umbrella now.
first time..
it was time it was time..
to march out for the preview!!
"left left left right left" we went.
standing on the stage,
facing the thousands of red audience,
seeing the flash lights of their cameras,
filled me entirely with satisfication,
and made me never regret joining NDP from the start.
haha yeah,
its all worth it.
the preview was a success!!!
congrats to all!!!
bused back to GG HQ,
we actually wanted to hyper,
but jie min said sleep.
so the bus was DARK..
haha..
back at HQ got our hang ten NDP 08 shirt.
did a fall out then went home.
im really gonna miss the trainings,
the "high" times,
the laughter,
the lots of KFC,
the graces we sang,
the suntec convention hall,
the hyper bus rides,
the dark HQ,
the YAs and marshalls,
the great friends we made,
and all the times we had together...
its just one more time till we say goodbye,
but of course if we make an effort,
we'll all meet again,
how bout next year thinking day?
