IM BACK FROM GUIDES CAMMMPPP!!!~~4 days 3 nights!
whoooo the longest camp i ever had.
this camp is definately SURVIVAL CAMP.
its tough,
but yeah,
its still fun.
so lemme re-tell my whole experience in the 4 days...
DAY 1
fall in at 6 pm.
weird timing,
so late cos sec 2 got lots of programme before that.
so we were grouped accordingly.
like other years, there were 4 groups.
but this year the names very crazy;
-BANANA BABES
-CHERRY CHICKS
-GRAPE GORGEOUS
-CALAMANSI CUTIES
and i got into CALAMANSI CUTIES together with jon yi, xiu chuan, sherlyn, tong xian, ching ying, diyana, geena and olivia as our leader.
so we proceeded to make our group identity and flag.
our group identity was supposed to be a ring,
a piece of cloth tied round our finger.
i called it the "calamansi engagement".
it looked like a bandage though.xD
tong xian and olivia made our flag.
tadaaaa! the bear so cute. haha.
after the group discussions we played games at the canteen.
the first games was the name thingy,
the leaders will flash a card with an alphabet,
and we are to shout the name of someone.
the second game,
was the puzzle one.
one of the group member will be blindfolded,
and the rest will lead the blindfolded person to fix the puzzle,
just by verbal instructions.
the first time diyana was blind folded.
we were the last group to complete.
but that was just a trial round,
and the winning team of course not happy.
haha.
the second round sherlyn was blindfolded.
WE WERE THE LAST AGAIN.
however like this game the best,
could build up team sprit.
was bathing time after it.
i din wanna bathe,
lazy. ._.
so instead stayed in class.
and then the BEAN FAMILY was formed.
MR BLACK BEAN--jolin
TEDDY BEAN--windsey
RED BEAN--yu wen
GREEN BEAN--ching ying
JELLYBEAN--jia ning
COFFEE BEAN--dawnie
SOYA BEAN--me!
then we called joe yee BEANSTALK and jing yi DUSTBIN.
milo and biscuits were for supper.
then we were told which night duty time slot we were in.
my group got the second one.
so there we go to our sleep for 1h plus...
then it was time for night duty,
we sleepy heads woke up.
need to report strength,
then need to assign PS.
the oldest there was tong xian,
so we saboed her. x]
then ms chua "hydrated" us.
we were over hydrated luh.
then walk walk around the school.
each time we meet ms chua must report strength.
so tong xian reported strength like dunno how many times in that night.
as we walk,
we poured away water into the drain,
cos ms chua say must finish one-fifth of our water. -.-
in one of our rounds we saw a man in red standing at the school's gate,
STARING AT US.
wild thoughts filled our minds.
ghost, robber or passer-by,
we dunno.
so we decided to tell ms chua.
tong xian say maybe mcdonalds delivery.
haha,
and this man-in-red turn out to be...
KFC DELIVERY!
hit bull's eye.
it was the GB and BB ppl who ordered.
WTH?!?!
dun stand there and stare at us luh!!!
in the middle of the night somemore.
after a few more rounds,
encountering 5 creepy crawlies:
-cockroach
-moth
-snail
-fly that loves the light
and one more i forgot,
our duty almost ended...
then.......
THERE WAS THE FIRE DRILL!
so we had to wake everyone up.
i went into the classroom shouting
"FIRE FIRE"!!!
LINDSEY WENT MISSING.
however calamansi found her.
ms chua hid her in the general office.
and she was peeling off her nail polish in there.xD
many would say this drill very lame,
waking everyone up,
but i think it really is some survival skill we should all know.
DAY 2
someone came into camp on the 2nd day.
was posted to our group.
luckily olivia got some way to push her away.
haha OLIVIA POWER!
phew...
geena also came and joined our group.
had the morning PT.
ran round the school dunno how many times.
nvm at least it wakes me up.
breakfast!
egg and mayo!
yum yum.
i ate 2 servings.
then had to get ready for NDP practice.
tied dawnie's hair again.
so the whole day i was out.
NDP practice was tough,
probably cos we're tired.

when we got back to camp,
tents were already pitched,
and the others were in the midst of outdoor cooking.
i missed the first part of the cooking,
throwing or cutting charcoal!
haha.
but making the fire spread or smth was FUN!!!
managed to get a pic of our fire.
we waited for very long then got our doughs cooked.
hehe it was nice luh.
nice bread.
the chicken was nice too.
and there was the chocolate banana and muffins.
so cool cook outdoors!!!
bath time!!!
we wait to be the last and bathed slowly.
haha.
dun have to rush mah.
calamansi cuties got to sleep in the 8-man tent.
fun fun.
the tent big big.
very comfortable.
7 of us share it,
cos tong xian sick went home. :(
dunnid to squeeze in a 4-man tent like last year.
we were so tired that no one got up to do night duty.
practically there wasn't night duty at all.^^
DAY 3
BOOOOOOOMMM!!!
the thunder roared at 6am.
just nice,
time to wake up.
natural alarm clock.
hahas.
same thing,
had PT.
breakfast was,
BREAD+JAM+PEANUT BUTTER+MARGARINE(how to spell??)
spread ourselves.
hehee i ate more again.
[im always eating more than 1 serving]
after breakfast was sec 1 enrolment and the badges ceromony.
due to rain,
we had to have the ceremony along the corridor.
LOLS. so weird luh.
pity the sec 1s.
have to have their important day held in the corridor.
and then when we getting changed into full u,
I LOST MY TREFOIL!
in the toilet.
it just disappeared.
find find find everywhere dun have.
so had to explain to ms huang.
fancy losing my trefoil at the eleventh hour!
sec 1 enrolment
a super long horseshoe formation on the corridor.
when calamansi cuties were called,
I MARCHED THE WRONG WAY.
lols. took the longer way,
and end up the PL and PS position wrong.
arghh!!!
then ms siti almost wanted to give me the trefoil,
then realised im not a sec 1,
so i had to explain everything again at in the ceremony.
bleh.

FINALLY WE GOT OUR BADGES!
sec 2s got the total defence badge,
the chef badge,
and the bronze award.
wow so honoured. xD
when the whole ceremony was over,
lindsey found my trefoil at the corner of a cubicle in the toilet.
?!?!?!?!
how the heck did it get there.
lunch was rice and curry chicken.
i ate 2 or 3 servings.
hahaha.
hungry me.
then had to go museum.
on the way to the army museum,
the rest of the ppl on the bus was like sleeping,
only me, ching ying, lindsey and dawn were joking away.
hahahahaaa.
at the museum
again in our groups have to complete the worksheet.
got one uncle there keep wanna help us,
in the end made everything worse only.
there was one section where we can shoot.
got a chance to play with the rifle,
so heavy luh,
and i anyhow shoot.
din hit on the correct thing at all. +.+
then we watched something in somewhere.
OMG the show was damn cool luh!
got smoke and water and the canon shooting.
and i mean REAL smoke and water.
really created the atmosphere,
about war.
after the museum we went to the adventure park there and played.
some were on the shaky thing and went hyper on it.
i climb here climb there,
swing here swing there.xDD
on the way back...
WE WENT HYPER!
singing cheers and songs,
with windsey, dawn, ching ying and maliah they all.
me and dawn just love the flea fly motorcar.
haha.
really hyper luh.
funfun.
now comes the HOT topic.
our SPICY dinner.
it was a damn freaking spicy macaroni.
hey and im someone who dun take spicy food ok.
me and jon yi suffered luh.
then we rinse it once,
it was still damn hot.
added lots and lots of tomato sauce,
still spicy.
no choice,
we threw the remaining away.
diyana the spicy eater,
ate almost finish the whole plate,
then say she felt the burnt.
ahhhhh,
me and jon yi felt it the first mouth!
seniors, sec4s and 5s,
came for the campfire.
they had a hard time trying to come in,
din have the "password".
need to sing a song.
haha.
nadzirah that group that came in actually sang the school song!

the 91s(sec 5s) bought lots of titbits for us.

we lie in the parade ground admiring the sky.
awhhh...
so nice!!!
we tried to stop the rain,
pushing it,
i know its lame,
haha but we dun care luh,
just having fun.
then there was the calamansi disaster after the campfire.
shall not say much.
but i kinda like staying up so late.
our night duty was the last slot.
so we decided not to sleep.
geena and ching ying went to wash toilet,
so the tent only left me, diyana, jon yi and xiu chuan.
sherlyn went home redi.
wow shiok luh 4 ppl share 8-man tent!
we were monkeying around,
or rather me, ^^
on the torch,
and i was doing the chicken leg shadow.
"u are going to eat me"!
hahaha.
had so much fun.
after fooling around for some time,
we were so tired and fell asleep.
at 3.30 we were woken up by the earlier group,
for night duty.
and guess what?
we slept during night duty along the corridor.
hahaaa.
then 1h later ms chua woke us up
and ask us to go back to our tents to sleep.
hahaa.
we only did night duty for 1h!
DAY 4
usual morning run.
breakfast:
porridge with onion egg.
i gave my egg to diyana.
ate plain porridge.
but i love the "pot smell".
its a weird smell.
haah.
then was unpitching of tents,
washing and cleaning up.
outside people came for some event in our school,
messed up the canteen,
and we had to clean it again!
had our manito gifts at the tower.
i was rui yi's manito.
or was i not?
my manito din know i was her manito.
in fact no one know who i got.
except maybe for the leaders luh.
hehehe.
so secretive...
so that was the end of 4 days and 3 nights.
its really a tough camp,
but as compared to last year's,
we learn much more this year.
though we were all worn out,
i think its worthwhile.
through this camp,
we got to know our juniors and seniors better,
and definately had fun altogether.
teamwork within a group i believe would be better too.
me and diyana are really grateful to the leaders.
without them taking us,
i think the whole unit would go out of hand,
they sacrificed their bathing time and sleep time,
for planning the next day's activities,
and also had to endure the stress from the teachers,
managing the whole camp,
though they're not the real assigned CLs and ACLs.
and also olivia, calamansi leader,
who tried to make the best for our group.

except one purple, which is the leader, so colour more purple.
