today went to singapore indoor stadium to celebrate thinking day.
before reaching the stadium... i got jing yi and joe yee at their bus-stops very early, met on bus 3 and then reached school very early so went to find those in 2/5 who went for maths supplementary. haha. then soon jia ning, dawn and lindsey came so we were at canteen for quite some time and then the teachers came so we had to fall in. and then at the tower they split us into company A and company B and we took different buses. dunno why must take two buses in the first place.
on the bus... practiced some cheers and then i was busy with sending themes from ching ying's phone when i received message from jocelin asking me if i had reached the stadium. ?!?! i just got on the bus and she reached long ago. sacss so fast. a little chit chat here and there, we reached the indoor stadium.
at the stadium... our school walked here and there and finally settled down on seats which no other schools were beside and above us. prcs solo there. lol. but at least we got bigger space especially when im sitting at the last row. again, like last year i sat at the side with dawn cos dawn says she has a phobia of sitting at the sides.??? last year the sec ones had to sit with seniors and i was at the side too. it turned out that sacss was just to the left of prcs.somehow got a chance to meet up with jocelin after multiple smses and calls.xD
then we cheer cheer cheer and screamed our lungs out until mrs.nathan, the president's wife, patron of GGS came. managed to catch a glimpse of her from where i was sitting. the whole ceremony started. the gigantic world flag was raised and we had to salute. enjoyed this part of the whole celebration the most. the most solemn part...haha. then it was followed by a damn long speech by the president of GGS, mrs joy balakrishnan. it was really looooooong. then there was the presentation of puan noor aishah honour bronze award...
finally the moment we've been waiting for!!! the presentation of puan noor aishah silver award, ok, PRCS got it! we very kiasu stood up to get ready to cheer way before we could see phay shuen queueing up to collect the award. it was so hard to reconigse anyone in the sea of blue[this phrase came from ms chua]. after some couple moments of anxious waiting, phay shuen was finally visible and when they announced pasir ris crest sec, we already started screaming before they could finish announcing our school name so i only heard "crest secondary school". haha. then phay shuen marched forward to receive the prize and we all screamed our cheer. the oi oi oi thing. haha.
after some performances and the presentation of gold award, we had guides' own and the world flag was taken down. once again we had to salute. the colour party brought the flag all the way in and then we had our brownie bells and taps.
the celebration ended and we took a whole unit photo with our banners.
back on the bus... dunno why the bus driver took the so long way that lead to ang mo kio so we reached back to school bout 6 plus. after everything... then i had to go ballet which started at 7. started dancing with a blur blur mind cos i was mentally tired not physically. lol. however, another meaningful experience in guides. =]
puan noor aishah silver award 1st coy for prcs 2008!
retarded us with our hats but i love it
a perfect pic with dawn
the gigantic world flag rising with honour and respect
PROFILE
Cheri's my big name. It's French fyi. So dont make a fool of yourself with pronouncing my name.
I first breathe oxygen on the last day of September. I've been moulded in SACPS and growing up in PRCS.
3/8's the room i go to everyday in sch. I love the sky, it's my darling. Dance and Guides revolve around my world.
I'm a very literature person, so read between my lines. I dont always talk things on the surface.
History's my favourite subject and i dont see whats's wrong with it. Just as my passion for the stage won't be killed so easily.
I live my life the way it is with wonderful friends around me. The last thing i need is a knife to cut my wrist.
You can hate me for all you want, cause i believe hating only harms yourself. I dont give up so easily and I never will.
If you know me well, you'll know I'm not just what you see. I am happy for the life God give me.
